Why Elume Exists
At Elume, we believe understanding physiology leads to better decisions, more sustainable habits, and ultimately better health.

Our Story
Leilani Rose is an integrative health strategist whose work bridges physiology, behavior, and sustainable health to help individuals and organizations better understand how the body influences performance, resilience, and long-term health.
Her background spans physiology, nutrition, movement, healthcare communications, and behavior science, with training in kinesiology, Ayurvedic nutrition, functional genomics, neuroscience-informed approaches to behavior and wellness, and certifications as a Nutrition Coach through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM-CNC) and a Yoga Alliance registered yoga instructor (RYT-200).
She also served for nearly a decade as an emergency medical technician and completed coursework in both nursing and herbal medicine—experiences that deepened her understanding of anatomy, physiology, recovery, nervous system regulation, and the interconnected nature of body systems.
In addition to her clinical background and interdisciplinary training, she spent several years working within the healthcare industry, leading projects across rare disease, respiratory care, digestive health, cardiac conditions, and oncology initiatives. This work strengthened her ability to translate complex medical and physiological concepts into practical, accessible strategies that people can realistically apply within the demands of modern life.
Through Elume, she develops physiology-informed education, workshops, and programs that help individuals and organizations understand how the body shapes behavior, performance, and long-term health.
The Elume Method
At Elume, we believe that sustainable health is built by working with the body rather than against it. Stress, sleep, recovery, nutrition, movement, and daily habits all influence physiology—and physiology shapes behavior. When we understand those relationships, lasting change becomes more realistic and more achievable.
Rather than relying on rigid protocols or one-size-fits-all wellness strategies, The Elume Method helps people understand why they feel, think, and perform the way they do. The goal is not simply to provide another plan, but to build the knowledge and awareness needed to make healthier decisions consistently over time.
Whether through coaching, educational programs, workshops, or speaking engagements, Elume translates complex science into practical strategies that fit the realities of modern life. The result is a framework that supports better energy, stronger recovery, improved resilience, and sustainable long-term health.
